Hi Friends,
I have been thinking about writing a proposal for my students to participate in this year's Megaconference Jr. which will take place this year on February 21, 2008. The link to it is: http://www.megaconferencejr.org/
Are you familiar with it? It is a 12 hour worldwide videoconferencing event for students supported through Internet2. Last year, I worked with a first grade class to create an interactive presentation about their families. I've been toying with an idea to submit for this year, when I realized this morning that perhaps the best idea could be right before my eyes- Life Round Here. It could be a great opportunity for classes involved in the project to interact and continue their collaboration.
Take a look at the site for Megaconference Jr. The proposal is due by November 9th, but it really is not very difficult to complete. The link is: http://www.megaconferencejr.org/?id=registration
I am really interested in hearing what you think about it.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
